Besides, Tetrabenazine may cause depression. Hence, with the onset of symptoms of depression, this drug should be discontinued immediately. Elderly should be aware that this drug may induce Parkinsonism symptoms; however, your doctor may adjust your doses accordingly. People with a history of depression need to inform their doctor before taking this drug. Generic for Nitoman should be stored at a temperature between 15 and 30 degree centigrade in an air-tight container. Tetrabenazine should not be taken along with a MAO inhibitor.
