| People who often choose to live the role of the opposite gender because their gender identity conflicts with their sexual anatomy. Also often used as an umbrella term to describe the community of androgyne, cross-dressing, transgender, transsexual, or transvestite people whose gender identities do not conform to the psycho-social gender role expectations of their societies. |
